What do you most love about teaching?
I love the moments when students make connections and the pieces come together! I love the expressions on their faces when they realize they accomplished something that had been challenging to them.

What makes NNPS a great school division?
NNPS has provided me with many professional development opportunities. This support has helped me grow professionally so that I can plan more rigorous and engaging lessons for my students.

Why are you passionate about supporting fellow teachers?
I was fortunate to have mentors who helped me. I am glad to have the opportunity to share resources, knowledge, and ideas to help teachers grown professionally and help improve student achievement.

Why do you love working in NNPS?
I love working in NNPS because I have freedom to teach.  I have the chance to really have an input in the learning of my students.

What do you most love about teaching?
Watching students learn and grow.  I love seeing the faces of students who accomplish things they did not believe they could do.

Why are you passionate about supporting fellow teachers?
Teachers learn from each other.  We all have different styles and the more we know the better we can serve our students.

What do you most love about teaching?
I love the ability to teach the whole child. It is wonderful when you see the students make connections in their learning and watch them grow and develop as learners as the year progresses.  To do this, I maintain a classroom that is organized and structured. Students are learning every day through various instructional strategies, techniques, and mediums. Every class is different. Most importantly the kids are actively engaged and taking a role in their learning.

What makes NNPS a great school division?
NNPS is a great division because of the abundance of opportunities provided to teachers. In NNPS, a teacher is never alone or helpless. There is always someone to go to, a resource available, or a PD that will help you tackle all your needs.

Why are you passionate about supporting fellow teachers?
Teaching can be a very challenging profession. I think it is important to be open and willing to provide support and help to all teachers every day. All teachers have struggled in their career and can sympathize with those who need help conquering challenges. I want to be a supportive resource for all.
