What are the roles of a TSS and a ITC?
The Technology Support Specialists (TSS) are your first line of technical support for any computer system or peripheral in the district, and therefore play an integral role in the 21st century classroom. They can help with network troubleshooting, device repair, software installation, malfunctioning equipment, and more. The Instructional Technology Coaches (ITC) are instructional coaches that support the growth of technology integration skills among educators. ITC can help educators plan technology-rich activities, can co-teach or model lessons in classrooms, can train educators on the use of instructional technology tools that support teaching and learning, and more. ITC exist to help educators grow into effective 21st century leaders and learners.
