NNPS-TV offers a wealth of educational programming

Posted: May 20, 2020

With schools closed due to COVID-19, NNPS students are learning at home. To provide additional learning resources, NNPS-TV has revised its weekday programming to air educational content for students.

NNPS-TV's lineup includes elementary programming including Bill Nye the Science Guy; educational programs from the Virginia Living Museum; and Biz Kids, a series about kids, money and business.

Middle school students may view some classic favorites including Outrageous Math, which explores pre-algebra math concepts in a casual and humorous fashion; primary and intermediate Spanish, and How About Science. High school programming includes programs on chemistry and literature, and Outrageous Geometry.

If you miss middle and high school sports, the Telecommunications Program has you covered. The boys' and girls' 2020 middle school volleyball championships and fall high school football games can be viewed on YouTube.
