Student Meal Service Will Continue Through the Summer

The Child Nutrition Services Department will provide meals-to-go for any student in need through the summer. Please visit one of our 25 meal sites from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday for lunch and a breakfast snack for the next day. Please note that on Thursdays, students will receive two lunches and two breakfast snacks. Families can pick up the meals in a drive thru lane without getting out of the car. (View location map.)

Meals-to-go are also available at the following school locations Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.:

  • Palmer Elementary School, 100 Palmer Lane
  • Warwick High School, 51 Copeland Lane

Newport News Public Schools is also offering mobile meals-to-go service 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Families should look for the familiar yellow bus at the following locations:
