Early College Program at NNPS

Early College Program

Thomas Nelson Community CollegeThe Early College Program in Newport News is a partnership between Newport News Public Schools and Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC).

The program is for qualified high school seniors who plan to attend a college or university after they graduate from high school. Seniors in this program may earn up to 19 semester hours of college-credit prior to high school graduation. The courses offered in this program are part of the Commonwealth College Course Collaborative (CCCC). Public colleges and universities have agreed to transfer credit for credit these courses as part of the college's general education requirements.

APPLY TO EARLY COLLEGE: ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FROM JUNIORS. APPLICATION DEADLINE MARCH 10, 2014.
