Newly Hired Employees
In March 2009, the School Board approved recommended changes that will only affect new employees who began working for NNPS on or after July 1, 2009. Upon retirement, this group of new hires will receive the VRS health credit for the purchase of NNPS medical insurance, a Medicare supplement, or other individual insurance.
Applies to all NNPS employees hired prior to 7/1/2009 regardless of years of service with NNPS
- Effective Date of Changes - July 1, 2011
- Achieve full funding of Annual Required Contribution - Fiscal Year 2016
