College Night Program to Provide Information, Scholarships
11th and 12th Grade Families Encouraged to Attend

(11/10/2016) -How do I select the "right" college? What do I really need to apply for financial aid? These questions and more will be addressed during the College Night in Virginia program at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at Warwick High School, 51 Copeland Lane, Newport News.

All Newport News public school 11th and 12th grade students and their families are encouraged to attend this year's College Night program to learn more about selecting the right college, the application process, financial aid procedures, scholarships searches and avoiding scams.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a pizza dinner in the cafeteria. The informational program will start at 6:15 p.m. in the auditorium. At the conclusion of the program, three $500 scholarships from Educational Credit Management Corporation will be awarded to eligible students, who must be present to win.

College Night is sponsored by the Educational Credit Management Corporation. For more information, call Warwick High School's Counseling Office at 591-4700.
