Newport News Public Schools is experiencing some school bus delays this week due to an increase in bus driver absences. Please rest assured that our transportation department is diligently trying to cover all of our bus routes. We ask for your patience and cooperation over the next few school days as we make adjustments to ensure our students are transported safely to and from school.

We encourage you to sign up and use Here Comes the Bus to see when the school bus is on the way. Here Comes the Bus allows families to view the real-time location of your child's school bus on a smartphone, tablet or computer.
