Book Donations to NNPS

Thank you for considering Newport News Public Schools as a recipient of book donations from your collection. Please use the following guidelines to determine whether your book donation meets our qualifications.

• All donations must be hardcovers in excellent condition
• All donations must be recent publications (no older than five years old).
• All donations must be school-appropriate and reflect the developmental stages.
• No textbooks, encyclopedias, or periodicals will be accepted.

If your book donation meets these qualifications, you may complete the following form. Once the form has been approved by the Library Media Services department, you will be contacted to schedule a date for the books to be brought to the Newport News School Board Office at Todd Stadium. Books donated without the completion and approval of this form will not be accepted. Please note that we cannot provide receipts, nor can we return any donated items.
