Summer Meal Service for Children, Teens: Meals-to-Go Now Available

Newport News Public Schools is participating in the USDA Summer Food Service Program. Thanks to the continuation of the federal waiver, Child Nutrition Services can resume meals-to-go service.
Parents/guardians now have the option to have their children and teens consume a meal onsite on a first-come, first serve basis at the locations and times listed below; OR parents/guardians may utilize meals-to-go service for children and teens in their household. Packaged meals are available from 12 to 12:30 p.m. Monday, July 18 through Thursday, August 12, in the drive through line at the locations listed below and at three mobile sites (look for the familiar yellow bus):
- Marshall Courts Recreation Center, 3301 Marshall Avenue
- Hogan Drive, Commercial Place behind WaWa
- Lee's Mill Community, Corner of Lee's Mill Drive and Charles Street
