NNPS students excel in science fairs
Posted: April 13, 2023
In recent weeks, NNPS students have showcased their research and findings. Seventy-five students participated in the All-City Science, Engineering and Technology Fair held on January 28 at Woodside High School and dozens advanced to participate in the Tidewater Science and Engineering Fair on March 11 at Old Dominion University.
While working on their investigations, students learn the processes of research and engineering design, and the technical writing skills needed to clearly and effectively communicate the results of their experiments.
Congratulations to the winners of the NNPS All-City Science, Engineering and Technology Fair.
The annual event is the culmination of months of hard work for students who earned entry to the all-city event through success at their school fair. The students presented research projects in a variety of science and engineering fields. Their projects were judged by 25 volunteer professionals representing various industries. These young scientists advanced to the Tidewater Science and Engineering Fair.
