Students experience variety of activities at March Mania 2.0

March Mania 2.0 provided activities for all students and their entire families on March 23 at Menchville High School.

The free event featured chess clinics, basketball clinics, a math exhibition and financial empowerment workshop. Registration for Newport News Public Schools preschool was available.

The math exhibition had interactive stations and games, as well as take home math activities. Friendly competition basketball games featured students taking on staff and a NNPS all-star team playing against the Newport News Police Department.

Vendors, food trucks and door prizes were offered.
