STEM Community Day provides exploration opportunities for all

Hundreds of attendees experienced hands-on science, technology, engineering and math activities for all ages at 2024 STEM Community Day co-sponsored by Newport News Public Schools and Christopher Newport University on June 1 at the Freeman Center.

Students, families and community members explored interactive exhibits, STEM careers, robotics, coding, 3D printing, STEM in the gym, and make and take STEM projects, as well as relaxed with food trucks, a bounce house and games.

The next STEM Community Day will take place on May 31, 2025.
