NNPS All City Music Festival held at CNU's Ferguson Center for the Arts

More than 600 students got to experience performing in a major venue as the Newport News Public Schools All City Music Festival took place January 17 at Christopher Newport University's Ferguson Center for the Arts.
Selected students from various elementary, middle and high schools performed collaboratively in eight ensembles in band, chorus, orchestra and guitar. The event, which was open to the public, was made possible through a support grant provided by the Newport News Education Foundation and the Newport News Arts Commission.
The middle school concert featured vocal, orchestra and band ensembles performing in the Peebles Theatre. The second concert consisted of elementary vocal and high school choir, guitar, orchestra and band ensembles performing in the Diamonstein Concert Hall.
