NNPS student artwork on display during February

Newport News Public Schools City Wide Youth Art Show will be on view February 1-24 at Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center. An opening reception was held February 1.
Visitors are welcome to visit the gallery during normal operating hours of Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
Organized by school and teacher, artwork in a variety of media from various grade levels is on display. This annual event is a joyous celebration of the creativity and art foundations being taught across the school division.
The Downing-Gross Cultural Arts Center is located at 2410 Wickham Avenue in Newport News. The Newport News Community Gallery is located on the second floor of the center.
