Families will supply clear backpacks for students for 2026-2027

Clear backpacks will continue to be required for all students for the 2026-2027 school year. Families will be responsible for supplying the clear backpacks for their students.
We will continue to use the same backpack requirements.
Acceptable backpacks must be fully clear on all sides and made of transparent plastic or vinyl material. Fabric bottoms are acceptable, but not required, and are recommended for middle and high school students.
Mesh pockets on the side of the backpack are permitted as long as people are able to clearly see through the bag. Colored, transparent backpacks are not allowed; only fully clear backpacks will be permitted. The backpack may have colored straps and piping. Logos and branding are not permitted. A small non-transparent privacy pouch will be allowed for personal hygiene items.
Recommended retailers include Amazon, Target and Walmart.
